Timed my LSC breeder/buyer at 10.48 from Thirsk, 147mls 1124yds to me. Jim Cameron of Uddingston bred the doo. My velocity should be 1216.97ypm according to my counting anyway! Returns disappointing at 9/12.

I timed the same doo last week too, thats him finished 'til next year.

Walter, Don't know where that statement came from but I phoned Jimmy Young at 7.30am and he said he was going to wait on some English Feds going past us before he went. Also know that John Jamieson our convoyer for the day is a FIRST CLASS guy and no way in this world would he ever think about that one so you can tell whoever told you about that he is a bigtime porky teller . this is wrong try gettin ur facts right was at conncet at 00,55 am at boyd st in park tacko will prove this birds were watered then did not know lib site was 5 mins away please try and get it right

Have to say apart from the Consett race the Lanarkshire young bird race program has been a successful one with returns being reasonable to good and brilliant for the one or two.

perhaps consett is a bad racepoint as the lanarkshire fed took a hammering there something is causing the sticky racing from here maybe time to change that racepoint its easy to blame race controlers jmo

 

Lanarkshires young bird race from Consett was bad but what didn't help was the full/low cloud cover which young pigeons fail to deal with, not forgetting that 80% of the feds got a terrible race from 5-6 different lib sites. we will be at Consett next week and it will be interesting to see what kind of race we get.

john j that is what i am trying to do was lorry moved from shopping centre on to site then libed with in 7 to 8 min if it did happen that is not very bright if its wrong ive been told porkies

Sorry Walter but knew it was all wrong without even asking about it as know how good a guy JohnJ is and what the birds mean to him. Would let him take my birds any place and never question his ability to look after them. In fact would go one further and say he is one of the best in the business in caring for them

Yes it is, going a little better now but still a big improvement required to compete with the rest of the clubs in Lanarkshire though this not an easy thing to do flying to Larkhall.

could be with consett so high similar to tow law the birds just drop down into the valleys and struggle to get a line home added with the clouds hugging the hills its bye bye birds
