Another one of those things George-some folk do it with success others don't believe in it

I'm a year ahead of yourself in as much as I started back with youngsters last year.I was happy enough getting my yearlings out of Leicester or Maidstone this season with the intention of them going across the water next year as 2yos

If I had an established team of doos or there was a pigeon that was asking to be sent I'd maybe be tempted though :)

aye ano what you mean mate

whats everyones thoughts on an open front loft just completely open is it okay as long at its dry

Paul Haelterman once said something along the lines of " The More Snow You Have in Your Loft In The Winter, the more first prizes in the summer". The more i think of this makes me understand why hundreds of fanciers put birds but mainly there hens in an avairy over winter. Personally im someone who reads between the lines and have gathered my own understanding of the quote, and its along the lines of health. But my question for the ones that do it for there hens only, why and not your cocks aswell?
