However, after watching the smart and slick passing of Mexico’s tonight so easily contained I don't think they will get past the Semi final if that. England now, if they get shot of Rooney, or at best play him just a bit part as a sub ... Well we could well go all the way. Yes I'd loved to have had more 'Home' sides there, think it is such a travesty the Irish aren't there either. Yet one thing for sure is, IF any home side was there, then English would support ANY of them 100% ... Until they met England of course. But as the jock Mr Campbell so rightly said week before last 'I'm ashamed how the Scot's will support any team against England! Even though many owe the homes and jobs to the English here in England etc. Must agree they ought to be ashamed. Sour grapes and jealousy springs to mind!

Roland Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 Gosh just think of the back lash from the Scots if England do win it .... 1966 still rankles them 45 year on .... even though most weren't born, and most still don't appreciate the beauty of our' game. -Invented via the English I think err er um! lol Oh I forgot, they say now the biggest gripe was that we didnae use any Scottish grounds to play some prelimanies on EKK LOL.Of course not, most were still getting to grips that Rabbie Burns was a poet and writer and not a club waving holigan lol and were suppose to take tatties laden with razor blades to throw at all and sundry. P.s. seen that, and same was done when watching the pictures. Thougt it was funny till sticking in the hid lol... then day thoght tit funny lol
