Roland Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Ours volenteered off his own back to take a drop in his salary. Likewise the transporter, even though he no longer flies a pigeon. These are great folk, and are a credit, and well appreciated. Likewise the president who takes the club's tranporter and tosses them .... FOR free twice a week! Only petrol being taken from the cost of birds sent at 25p a bird!

Guest Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 ours don't get paid :-/ :o and they say us scotts are tight ;D ;D ;D
Pompey Mick Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 I get my annual Club & Fed fees paid, but we have a race secretary who collects birdage and posts the Fed result after I've calculated it on the computer. Next season sees the advent of ETS in my Club with 25 members on it, so I looking at about a 1000 OBs to be registered during the winter months, with the YBs to come. Cant grumble because I advocated it and got the grant.
PIGEON_MAN Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 What do you think of our sec,he,s Club sec, treasurer, clock setter, helps to basket the birds, also runs the clock station for the NFC,CSCFC and the MCC,FED delegate, also on the fed emergency committee, sorted out all about the ETS,works out the result on a saturday, and as been doing nearly all that for 25 years. It,s our AGM in 2 or 3 weeks do you think he will carry on.Of course I will I love it. ;D
