jimmy white Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 young garry mitchel [11 years old] was refused entry to gilmerton h,c gilmerton homing club have permission to use the" community" centre and in fact got a portacabin from them. gilmerton club [roughly 10 members] got a lottery grant [for" community"] young garry,s father, grandfather. great grandfather , all born in gilmerton [except great grandad but been in gilmerton 70 years ] all pillars of society ,never ever did anything unlawfull,, a well respected family secy of gilmerton club proposed young garry in ,,,,no seconder....[shocking] meeting held in pub [not affiliated to gilmerton club ] some gilmerton members were barred from this pub [nothing to do with pigeons] through this they could not get a vote [as they were not allowed in by pub] gilmerton members new this is this meeting valid. the reason young garry didnt get in ,,,,he knew me. [hundreds of others know me but get in to clubs] are they jealous,,do they think i would be helping him [which im not] we had this b4 when celtic won 4 or 5 races on the trot ,,automaticly and jealously took the shine from celtic ,, said it was jimmy white , ive never seen celtics loft, never been in his house ,,why try and take the guys glory away from him [shocking ,,,,im sure celtic will verify this ] what the hell is pigeon racing comming too :(
Guest Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 :Bthats just bloomin rotten , denying a young lad entry to a club, guilty by assocation , regardless of facts . andy
darkknight Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 they are jealous of an 11 years old thats pathetic
ALF Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 THINK I'D BE TAKING IT UP WITH THE SHU IF I WAS THE BOY'S FATHER
sammy Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 some gilmerton members were barred from this pub [nothing to do with pigeons] think on this part its up to the secy to make sure all members have the choice to attend meetings this choice has been taken away by an outside influence ,ie,landlord of pub would seek further advice from shu on matter
Taylorsloft Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 my club got a grant and i think there was some rules about refusing somone ask ian mckay
ch pied Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 jimmy, from what you are saying this was more or less a secret meeting , as we call them on this side of the pond , so much for the sporting nature of the member's of the club , they should bringing the kid in with open arm's and giving any help he may need , DISCRACE , no other word for it , celtic / billy no mate's , beat it up them
Roland Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 Don't think there is, never has been unfortunately - any rules, to prevent.... only those made to prevent. Likewise when clubs reform and leave would be ET members, or would be disabled There has always been these clubs, and unfortunately a higher % of those like that, than those not members. When I moved house and area - through divorce - I say unashamedly, that I was possibly one of two, if not the hardest, and best clubman. Both clubs made silly excuses not to let me back ... Yes I am in three, and yes the worst location flyer in all three, but at least I am flying ... both clubs would / or have asked be to join, again offering silly reason why it would e ok now to join! I know it is for selfish motives and what I can do for the. They can all get knotted. Hope the lad gets somewhere to learn his trade, have his fun before we lose another that is ill afforded. And if the local club changes it's mind, let's hope he gets in before he is successful, or his chances are reduced rapidly. P.s I don't think for a moment that they are jealous of an 11 yearold...But who am I to think :K) :K) ;D
Roland Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 should read ... any rules, to prevent them not accepting anyone.... only those made to prevent certain ones from joining..

jimmy white Posted January 13, 2008 Author Report Posted January 13, 2008 this could be seriously considered in breaking the lottery constitution ruling "a grant for all " if these rules are broken , lottery can claim clubs assets ,,,,read it very carefully ,,,,,,,and beleive me this is true, as i have found out, from a relative , who is head of the" grants for all " scot.
Guest Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 Jimmy where is the boys loft? in relation to the club boundry and does he fly by his self or is he in partnership? i think we are too fast to jump on the back of someone/club when we only get the one side of the story and i think your right mav its the clubs business and not to be judged by people who no nothing about what is going on
Guest karl adams Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 i think the members that went to that meeting should have voted the young lad in
