Also being a friend, outwith pigeons, of Joe Murphy's, he does have faults unlike some it seems. He has been a very good friend to me and lives his life around helping people and pigeons :-/

Most of us who had the pleasure of knowing the old gentleman are not surprised that he was snubbed. It just shows the type of people we are dealing with. He would have wanted nothing to do with those concerned. He is a great loss to the sport he loved and excelled in. An all time great.

Guys/ gals, all i asked was, does anyone know if the snfc website would be updated this year, as in the past. I am very saddened that the attitude in pigeon sport is so bitter. I joined the sport only three years ago, and am now the secretary of Kennoway Homing Society, which i really enjoy. However, i am being disalussioned as to the way this one time great gentleman sport is heading. I cant understand why this happens in todays life. If i have a problem or disagreement with someone, i try and sort it out in a gentlemanly way. If after that its apparent that we have a difference of opinions, i respect that, and move on. Life is too short to be bitter and upset, lets enjoy the lives we have been blessed with. We are only here on this planet for a short time, dont waste it, enjoy it. lets put some happiness back into the sport before we lose it for good.

Its good to sit down after the race and see whose timed in although if Im lucky enough to get one I'll be waiting a good half hour before I phone in. On second thoughts I'll no even bother phoning in.

Yes I think that Boomarang and Tammy are right,lets just let the guys get on with their new job and lets enjoy doo season what ever it brings.Sorry I got caught up in it myself,I for one wouldn't envy being a pro as theres always someone who's not going to be happy at whats been written.

Another week passed and still no update on the latest news or dates of race programme on the SNFC website. Maybe the 3 or 4 PROs are on their Hols ;D ;D

well it is very simple for the new pro to start his own , he could get a site on here if he wanted along with all the other feds and clubs, quite sure webmaster could sort him out with one if he wanted.
