Guest Vic Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 Do you think that it is a sign of form when w/h cocks start "turfing out" w/h cocks from adjacent boxes/
LISTER Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 think its a sign of something ie form when they do anything out of ordinary
ChrisMaidment08 Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 widowhood cocks should not be disposed out of their boxs if they are they should not be there
ChrisMaidment08 Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 to awidowhood cock that is and if he is removed he willnever have the love or heart to keepit i have seen cocks torn apart and sill hold box
Guest Vic Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 Sorry to tell you guys, I have had some good wins at this time of year, with pigeons in this condition.
Roland Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 Do you think that it is a sign of form when w/h cocks start "turfing out" w/h cocks from adjacent boxes/ Don't know... but that is the same widowerhood pattern that stops many birds drinking in the crates... and poor lib man getting blame for not watering.
Delboy Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 Do you think that it is a sign of form when w/h cocks start "turfing out" w/h cocks from adjacent boxes/ definately, birds fighting are on their toes.
Guest Silverwings Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 remember the terror busschearts of A.P.B they would turf themselves out of the box if there was no one else to fight, sat like lambs in the pannier topped the fed on saturday !!!!! teritorial widowers with just one yellow tumbler hen between them, ooooooooh!
schouwman71 Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 i like strong willing cocks and like them better if they are prepared to take another box from another cock,it creates strenth in the loft, the type i have warn each other off regular and smash each other with there wings,no other has taken there boxes has yet,all powerfull pigeons.

Guest Vic Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 Nice to know, that some of you agree with me, (on some things) lol. Good Luck Sincerely.
Wiley Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 have to agree, some of my best years was with a good team of widowhood cocks 14 widowhood cocks, and they would terrorise each other by trying to dominate each others box, created hell of a jealousy, and was amazing to watch on getting them in every cock cooing about and roaring, and going for each other on the grass like lions! Sure would love another season like that one
Guest Vic Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 I slipped up today. It was so uncomfortable with the strong winds, that I decided to watch for my channel arrivals, from the comfort of the kitchen, and checking , just in case, by walking upto the loft every 10 minutes. Anyhow, needless to say! one sneaked in, as I entered the kitchen after one of the walk ups. So it seems I threw 10 minutes away. I finished 2nd club and would not have beaten the winner, as he was 16 minutes ahead of me. The bird was my all pooler, and was entered in the Liverpool Continental Club which is the annoying part of my mistake. By the way, he was the bird that turfed another one out of its box. Only a yearling but, but maybe my all pooler, for the big one from the 500 miler in a fortnight.
