Guest Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 I have heard that the snfc committee has put a recomendation to open the membership up to any other union isthis true and what are your thoughts on this aye
frank-123 Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 I have heard that the snfc committee has put a recomendation to open the membership up to any other union is this true and what are your thoughts on this as long as they live in scotland fantastic maybe we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel regarding the two national back as one would it not be great if both could go together to rennes in 2009 aim for 2010-12 for one national
Guest Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 what do you think will hapen and do you want this to hapen clockman
andy Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 as long as they live in scotland fantastic maybe we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel regarding the two national back as one would it not be great if both could go together to rennes in 2009 aim for 2010-12 for one national Wouldn,t it be even better if the 2 nationals could go together for Alencon or Reims, considering 90% of the country flies that route. Rennes was a romance at one time and should be left like that, its time to move forward not backwards. I'm one that remembers the last few Rennes races and they were poor. Cant remember a bad Reims or Alencon!!!
Guest Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 got to agree andy if we were to leave the past behind that should include rennes but its about the two nationals
Guest redwhiteblue Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 got to agrre there is only roon for 1 national in scotland, if the snfc don't get rid of their dead wood on their committee there will only be 1 national in scotland the snrpc!!!
Guest Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 maybe i should have made this a poll for or against feel free to do this mods i dont know how
Guest redwhiteblue Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 so are you for or against r/w/b against snfc committee
Guest Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 ok cant comment iam not a member but would be nice to know scottish fanciers views regardless of who proposed it might give us a clue if it would go through
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 ok cant comment iam not a member but would be nice to know scottish fanciers views regardless of who proposed it might give us a clue if it would go through Ladbrokes are giving odds off 5/6 for rule chamge against the status quo 6/5. Dont know what the other bookies are offering.
gangster Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 it would be nice for all scotland 2 fly together in a national race..
Guest Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 it would be nice for all scotland 2 fly together in a national race.. some will have to get there suspensions lifted first.
rembrant2coo Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 You have just started up the comedians again frank, what response was you expecting , Gareth has put you in no doubt what they want , so where has this all come from, some blown up subject brought up at some night out or a presentation i presume, pie in the sky.To start with the S.H.U. will not wear it .
atlantic Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 hear we go again, the shu wont wear it.,get real and stop hiding behind governing bodies,it has nothing to do wth the shu,ITS UP TO THE MEMBERS.
rembrant2coo Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 hear we go again, the shu wont wear it.,get real and stop hiding behind governing bodies,it has nothing to do wth the shu,ITS UP TO THE MEMBERS. No need to shout atlantic but it was the members who voted against it at the S.N.F.C.meeting or do you not remember , 2/3 majority and rule 2 must be a member of the S.H.U. so explain please
eastcoaster Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 hear we go again, the shu wont wear it.,get real and stop hiding behind governing bodies,it has nothing to do wth the shu,ITS UP TO THE MEMBERS. Well done mate you are spot on we decide who is on what commitee and lets look beyond the past and try and help ourselves go forward , Colin
rembrant2coo Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 Well done mate you are spot on we decide who is on what commitee and lets look beyond the past and try and help ourselves go forward , Colin well why did you not do something about it at that meeting and there would still be one national ,which we would all prefer at that time too
frank-123 Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 I have heard that the snfc committee has put a recomendation to open the membership up to any other union is this true and what are your thoughts on this harry your off topic
rembrant2coo Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 harry your off topic its still to do with the snfc why this didn,t happen in the first place frank we wanted it to happen then but no, now they want to change there minds as clocky said what about suspensions and other bits and bobs are they all going to be ammended, i don,t think so .
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 No need to shout atlantic but it was the members who voted against it at the S.N.F.C.meeting or do you not remember , 2/3 majority and rule 2 must be a member of the S.H.U. so explain please Harry i dont know if you know this but that 2/3 majority rule is to protect against mob rule, and in case you have forgot the SNRPC have 350-400 members and had 200 members there to vote for a rule change that compares to the SNFC having a 1000 members and only had 120 there to vote for the status quo. Harry wish you all the best but this topic should be left for fanciers who want to see 1 national club in Scotland. cheers Gareth
eastcoaster Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 well why did you not do something about it at that meeting and there would still be one national ,which we would all prefer at that time too The reason is i was not racing at the time , but my brother was and he was one of the one`s who got up and walked out ! but he like so many others realised that that was not the way to do things and has put it all behind him as the rest should for the good of our sport . i will not get involved in a polical slanging match over this or any thing else that is how we have 2 small national clubs instead of 1 decent one, :P :) Who`s going to the SNFC BALL then
