what would make a pigeon stop moulting its last three flights :-/

 

being moved from one loft to another ,illness cam be another , ;)

thats more likely the cause it has upset the pigeon ;)

A HEALTHY BIRD SHOULD NOT STOP MOULTING IT MUST HAVE ENDURED SOME STRESS LEADING UP TO THE MOULT OR DURING MOULT I HAVE SEEN IT IF YOU LIKE THE BIRD GO VERY EASY AS I DONT THINK IT WILL BE MUCH USE THIS YEAR  :-/ :-/ :-/

bird looks good except for this we dont want to mention it to our dad because when we do that and we go to the loft in the morning they never seem to be there
:(dont tell him lass ,and get a padlock on doo kit  :P                           andy.

just found out its an old ring thats on her and she is indeed a latebred would this maybe account for this happening  :-/

 

yes it would -  late breds usually retain some of their nest flights
