Tony C Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 Two things, one forget the jealousy crap scenario.... and more importantly just take your birds to the club and have them send them to the race points. They can't refuse, but of course will have to pay the correct birdage. Believe you will already be a Fed member, so are entitled to have your clock etc. also done. Never mind the club.... your results etc. are up in print every week. And one hell of an added booster to you to do even better. Like one does for the Nationals. You have to be a member of the main governing body of course be it RPRA / Scottish /Welsh or whatever, but you would have to anyway. Roland have you not got to be a member of a club to fly in a Fed. A Federation is made up of clubs which are the members, Individuals are members of the club and not the Fed (if this makes sense)
Roland Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 Possibly.... but as a member of the GOVERNING body, they can't refuse. urther I know of a local federation that emplores fanciers whether in a club or not, to join and fly with them. Have done so for 7 8 years so must be able and legal.

Guest strapper Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 to send from a club you have to be a member of the federation the club is a member of...or a member of the national if the club is a national marking station ..and the race is a national race...you wont be able to send to a federation race if not a federation member.

hotrod Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 you mean they only transport them to races?..but the clubs cannot take positions in your fed? also do these clubs send from clubs in the federation? yes we transport them to races and we have a combine called the caladonian combine with two feds and two individual clubs and possibly another fed this year , they can enter birds in the combine races, and no they dont take positions in fed . clubs send from clubs in the fed?????

naedoos Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 I have as you guys know been on this site for a long time now, and what i have noticed is that alot not all do alot of talking without winning, let me explain.... Firstly everyone on here is full of advice and then we find out they have not won anything, you all have sprint specialist or distance fanatic against your names or eysign enthusiast..? What my point is , is that alot give advice who have never won anything so what relevence is that advice anyway, maybe through experiances some have a good case to input some advice when asked , others and it is legion advise but have not got a clue or just take the p*ss which is wrong, could we not have on this site a measure in place which records your career record and gives you a career rating of 1-10 as a good source of information for up and coming fanciers or new starters. to help ensure they get it right, by doing this they can maybe achieve better results and remain in the sport without becoming dispondant.. also there would then be a measuring factor to the selling and buying theme on here, more you are rated the more people will want your bird and also have a confirmation of trust with the site. I am in partnership with timbarra lofts and we dont race , this will not benefit us really although we have won races , it is not meant to benefit us just the sport and the site.. let me know guys oh happy days.. How many points dae ye get aff fir haein yir young birds double rung wi twa different years on them ;D ;D ;D
Guest Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 This thread (without reading every post!) is leaving me a bit confused??? Are you trying to say the the most knowledgeable fanciers are the big winners???
Guest spin cycle Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 This thread (without reading every post!) is leaving me a bit confused??? Are you trying to say the the most knowledgeable fanciers are the big winners??? OR...no-one knows everything (anything(dizzy)) and you just have to find your own route using 'bits & pieces' of advice that work for you...which ,after all, is part of the 'fun' ???
