Guest bigda Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 have you been training this week pigeon wife
ALF Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Today was a funny training day for some myself including I took the doos to Abington ( yes i know it's bandit territory but it's only 25 mins away and you can beat the doos home easily enough Well i could have been on a pushbike and still beat them today :'( :'( :'( ) I took all the yearlings approx 38 of them and let them up at 11.15am and i got back to the loft at 11.45 and after i put the baskets away i stood in the park and waited and waited and waited and then i had to leave at 20 past 12 to pick the wife up from work and about 10 mins later Gerry McFall phoned to say that 2 cocks had landed on the loft and i got back 10 mins later and still only the 2 doos home :-/ I went back up the road and got washed and shifted for work and went back down at 1.30 and only about 4 missing then :-/ So it was panic over a bit for me :P But i was in the loft there at 20 past 10 and still 2 or 3 missing i think
