Still only 7 back Paul, im gutted for you. How strong was the wind mate, I know pigeons dont like any east in the wind however I would say there are other reasons for them not returning, was there other feds liberating causing clashing.. I hope they work in Paul I hate loosing birds if I am any missing on a Saturday I dont even stay out for a pint it bothers me that much. :(

WELLDONE JACK ON WINNING A VERY TOUGH RACE, YOUR STILL DOWN OVER A QUATER OF YOUR BIRDS AND YOUR ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES, MANY ARE DOWN HALF OR MORE, AS I SAID THOUSANDS ARE STILL MISSING.  BANDIT

Don't worry lads will report any around this area. The bird just sat there still.

Another thing abou yesterday which we found strange was the number of peries. While my YBs were out, at least 3 we spotted over head at different times, yet never even looked at mine, makes me wonder if they have already fed???

If a bird this far over then it has little or no chance of getting back with all the mountains, BOP etc.

So sorry to hear mate.

Yes, I'd say 95%, as near as dam it that the East in the wind was the culprit. ESPECIALLY any yearlings, they hate it!

Sorry to say, but if the East remains in the wind, as forecast and we have now, the same story will be heard this week  end.

personally I have cared for the birds to chuck them away, so seems likely I won't be racing this week - end. Could chance a few 2 yo's, but what for? :-/ To knock them back a couple of weeks - or so. :-/

really sorry to hear of all the losses, we had a similar things 2 years ago from sennen cove, wiped alot of people out, hence i have no 06 birds in my race team! 1 top fancier round here got 4 from 21, and had 2 reported in ireland! it is disheartening, but keep your chin up and keep taking the tablets!

THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR COMMENTS, AS YOU CAN TELLTHERE IS ALOT OF FANCIERS WONDERING WHERE THEY WENT WRONG, WE ALL NEW IT WAS GOING TO BE A HARD RACE WITH THAT WIND, WELLDONE TO ALL THE WINNERS ,AND LADS GIVE THE LATE ONES A CHANCE THEY FULLY DESERVE IT. ILL KEEP YOU POSTED IF MORE OF MINE RETURN  BANDIT
