It's not down to being hand fed and tame mate it's about getting them to trap when they come and if you are nervous when they come home they sense it and wont trap
cemetary Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 Maybe she is telling you to put yer cash on her next week, hope so.
greenlands Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 hi kev it was only the first bird that played up bird 2 came streight in no problem . Been among pigeons a long time,it's always the first pigeon that's nervous,it's probably flew a fair bit on it's own, there aren't as many birds around as there usually are, just that something different will upset the bird.Unless you've got a crank, there's always one.Give it a chance mate,it's just a baby. Lindsay.
flyingteessider Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 its not far enough for her its a good sign
cowman Posted August 29, 2009 Author Report Posted August 29, 2009 well i`ll hold her back now till the last 2 races 111 miles and 193 and see how she comes any other time they trap as soon as i call them in . i was not nervous at all alf so why do you say that? i`m the same with my birds weather its a race day or just loft flying so would have nothing differant for them to see or sense .
