Good thinking Robbie that would be a quick win, I am sure we could rustle up enough cash from the sale to buy Arthur's loft. Not far to move it.
Guest IB Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 I think getting a loft needs to be priority, and cash donations are quickest way of funding that. If there is a loft available, and its suitable, then bag it, ask for time to pay (a month?), meanwhile give us a sum to aim for, and an address to send a cheque. Count me in for £50 Ian.
Ian McKay Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Too late guy's its on the cards to be discussed and another will let you know the outcome A quick fix would be nice Thanks Robbie Ian
Ian McKay Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Thanks IB I at the moment have two options but need further investigation Ian McKay "Kingslea" Kingswells Aberdeen AB15 8SL 01224 741028
Guest redwhiteblue Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 i would just like to say how sorry i am to hear about wee jock, as jock was a well respected fancier in the scottish midland fed, i just hope the guys down here pull together, as jock would have pulled together with us. i will put the word out in the midland fed that this has happened to him.
Ian McKay Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Just spoke to Jock and he is touched by your generosity. Police asked council to removed the birds they said Ok but we will charge for it :D :D as though these guys have not had enough. More donations are being offered so have posted my address to help speed things up. Thanks to you all from Jock but he does not have a puter Ian

That's shocking news, if there is going to be a sale to help, put us down for a pair of 2010 y/bs.
Ian McKay Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Thanks once again I have this morning had more offers of help none of which will be dismissed but the main project now is to get Jock & Andrew a loft so he /we can get them some birds to breed from next year There are a few different options on the go so will discuss them all with the doners and find out what will be best for Jock he will make all the decisions Cheers & Thanks again for all your help it will be a long haul but I am confident you with my help can pull this off and restore Jock to original place before this terrible event Ian

alex wight Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 This is my first season back since my deliberate arson attack last year, and i would like to donate 2 2010 ybs, to help these poor guys. They,re not proven birds yet, but were bought from Mark Bulled in Harlow who is having a blinding season, and has appeared in the bhw the past few weeks. The support we show on this sight is 2nd to none, i,m testimony to that, well done everyone.

Guest Denny Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Here is the article which was published in the local newspaper: http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/1334279?UserKey= Ian Just read the article, and what a situation to find yourself in. Poor Mr Leadbetter, devastated is not the word for it. All that time, engery, especially after his stoke, and dedication put in to see it up in smoke and to have to bury your birds at the end of it all in one go. Really feel for him as I would hate to lose my birds even after the little time i have had them.
Guest Denny Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Can you re post the address for the donations?
