I have thought long and hard about situations like this and here is a great chance for the sport to get some exposure the local press were all over this because she donated all her organs and we got word back that at least 4/5 lived because of this so why don’t we pigeon fanciers get our self organized to do this service free to let the public see that fanciers care instead of the people who just do it to make money lots of people see these birds as peace and freedom we could really put our self out there but for this time its very personal to me but thanks for the reply I agree wholeheartedly with Frank.... So so sorry to hear of this, it touches my heart – (no jokes please). My heart felt condolences goes with all who knew this brave child. Talk about 'Lest we forget' this is certainly one case where it is NOT a release of 4 - 6 birds as the the norm that is required. I think we should nigh fill the skies. Whites and Gays, any white that look white flying being released first. Then again, why not a release of whites pigeons to be followed by a mega release of an assortment 'Pigeons' full stop? I for one will gladly donate say £30 to pay / buy for a 'White' of anyone’s that has one that can be released here. I think the great young lady deserves as such from many our fanciers.
