might try a couple of sprinters. seriously think it would need to be the fittest 2/3 y/o to get anywhere near the result , I also think at this distance the east/ west argument will be irrelevent as it will be a game bird anywhere that does this distance

 

 

thease are all great points iam only fireing up old walter and the likes but just look at Brian Denny 748mls on the day yes he times 4/5 yr olds but he sends lots of 2/3 yr olds and gets them in race time with the mind to send them back next year to be serious contenders with that experience if he can do it why not us we just have to get the right birds and in the best condition but the 1st thing to do is try what you have you never know you might have that class of birds in the loft and dont even know it YET!!!!!!!

frank i for one would love to try it i was excited with the feeling that les mckay must of had that day and that was me on the computer god knows what like i would be flying in it . frank there is a lot of guys on here do a lot of mouthing and nothing else but i for one would easily go for it even though i have never timed in from across the pond . the only problem we have up here is getting our doos to the marking station but if it got organised i would defenitly send .

         step forward the north fanceirs that would be interested in going remember you,ve got to be in it to win it .

tO BE FAIR THE ONES I SENT WERE 4 AND 5 YEAR OLDS,  but hard to get them to that age vince nowadays,  so think you have to get them going a bit younger now,

 

years ago you had a lot more time to get the exsperiance into them but not so now :o

alf a few year ago i set myself goals one was for winning the fed averages which i have done for the last 2 year its like i,ve learnt my tread after that its the channel . thats why i,m changing a lot of things in my loft i know its different doos for the 600 milers but i,m just starting at that level and if i can get my doos as determined as i am to crack it i will be alright . maybe take a few years but i will not rest until i do it and do it costintanly . also hope some more of the north boys go for it . by the way alf thanks for the compliments .

the race prog isnt 100% yet but as soon as i get it i will put it up martin the reason for bringing this back up just now is to give all plenty of time to join the nfc it will have to be done soon
