showman Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Shop around, get quotes.....cheapest isn't necessarily always the best. The care of the birds is paramount.

Guest mr mrs arnold sons Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 when i by birds i do not look at the pedigee if the bird has wining cards 1.2.3.4 then i will by it it can come from top flyers pedigree with all the top birds in it know good if the bird you by has know cards pedigee know good cards for the birds show that the birds have it in them to win young birds would not by one at know price.

retired Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 two couriers i recommend pigeon courier brian and flying couriers wayne used them both before good prices and everytime birds have been dropped off spot on . all the best. Quite agree with you on Brian and his business - my only choice ever since first time used - Worth his weight in gold and to be honest in my view he is to cheap but i wouldnt want to give him any ideas ;D My only critiscm of Wayne and his Flying courier business (Ok well two) is that there seems to be personal problems or vendettas splashed about (Not blaming him overall for it though) and more importantly he will do a few weeks work and then disappear for a few months - Its something i would say to him in person so is meant as constructive - When he has the job it seems to be done well. At the end of the day the wheat has been sorted from the chaff - There is 4-5 good couriers about now all do a great job under pressure and those that couldnt handle the pace, did a poor job or thought they were the dogs danglies are gone now leaving the good genuine ones to service the fancy properly.
