Well i know a bit early, but sooo excited for saturday, first race of the year, The banter between my lad and me is great!! and the weather looking good with a 6mph west wind.

 

hope everyone has an enjoyable weekends racing And good returns, I feel nervous that my son will beat me, havent told him that though :-) :-)

 

feel like a kid on xmas eve already?? dont know why!!  ;D ;D

Yeah it will be great fun, im so glad 1 or 2 young lads are interested, and jordans school is in ian mackays KINGSLEA ONE LOFT RACE aswell, so even if it just gets 1 more interested it will be good for the sport.

 

And its my name still on the result this year, said if he stays as keen next year he can fly under his own name, So yes he can win this year, No 1 will no it was his bird (evil)(evil)(evil)

My son's starting racing young birds this year!! They're already giving me stick lol. Had an amazing 1st race last week 1st five in the club 14/204 and combine. Would love more of the same this week.

Just looked at XC weather and its giving it Sunny but cold with a NE wind on their nose down here on the South Coast. Not reaching double figures temperature-wise till early afternoon. Hopefully a delayed lib will be the order of the day from Kingsdown, 93mls for me.

Still excited :-) yes will be a bit on the cool side, but will put me long johns on, Just filling in my race entry sheet for tonight, Got 14 of my cocks going, (2 in injury bay) and 8 latebred cocks of my sons :-) They will take the pee out of me tonight at clb, with all those scottish rings on  ;D ;D

 

Jordan still thinks he is going to beat me, i have told him i will have 10 of mine before he gets 1 of his!!! Hes getting his picnic ready tonight, (thats all he will be doing eating :-)

Well bit behind, was 5 minutes behind the winner from 70 miles!!! bit broken up after the first few, got 20 out of 22, ( just 2 of my sons latebreds missing) will be 6th i think, Not last though  ;D ;D, But need to do better  next week, 1 or 2 looking  bit tired,

well he wasnt that chuffed, and he just gone bed, but hes talking about next week so he will be o.k, hope for his other 2 next week, his first was a bird bred by black w/f, and has shown some promise, and if treated nice, im sure he will do well :-)
