well pigeionscout i think we have gone full circle so i am going to bale out now this is all about opinions you have one i have another i wish you luck for 2009 ransom50 the pied is a stonker so put your pliers back in the tool box mate

don,t think it can be entered in ob race as it will have a 2009 ring on its leg,

but can,not see a problem sending it as a trainer with the old birds,

this is what i hope to do with some of ours :) if aloud to :)

 

you can put them in as trainers i have enquired at tthe club

this has been a good thread, is it a record for hits, all the best for 2009, just hope that rules are put in place to stop it happening next year.we could name the rule joes rule.

A minute can be passed in your fed now to stop it then make it a rule next year.

fed or club can stop it now i agree, if the club or fed officials arnt the ones doing the same, double ringing.

Yes Joe it is all about opinions and it is my opinion that the young bird can only race as an old bird by deception and deception breaks RPRA rule 70(a). I am also of the option that there are hard working honest fanciers out there being cheated by dishonest men who are making their young bird look like old birds with an old ring and a bit of tape, rules or no rules.

well if all it takes to cheat to make young look like old birds then aint the darkness a from of cheating as that exactly what u are doing

on the ring issue what to say on the last day of December u ring your birds with a old ring and on the first u ring with a young bird ring

When I say look like old birds I ment make them look like old birds so you can race them as old birds.
