timed in at 820 when going in to check loft already two birds in loft not registred on ets for some reason two birds been in for a while as they are bone dry......................git :'( :)

my mate g smith from newbugh 10 miles north of aberdeen clocked 2 yearlings one is a late breed

he is a happy man 489 miles  :) :) :)not as happy as me as i am getting 2 late breeds from him  so look out nexted year  :) :) :P :P :P

It was commemorating the thousands of soldiers killed in the First World War battles around the Somme at Ypres, and Passchendale (spelling). Many of them not much older than yourself, Ben.

 

It may become an annual event. (Hopefully).

 

and let us never forget that , many pigeons also saved many soldiers lives , and delivered some valuable information [see war pigeons posts] a great gesture by fanciers who entered ,

a good p,r o  should make the best of that ,i,e news etc  as these pigeons also battled in terrible weather to get home

first of all , the birds dont belong to me  :),,,,secondly i havent a clue about ets  ;D,,but again well done mitch in getting 3 birds out of an old bird team of 7  pigeons  :)

the race was not open to all the pigeon fancy in scotland. some members of the rpra flying in scotland were not able to participate. well known fanciers from the east of scotland.
