is it that close allan?

Hawd oan a wee minute wi this wan the velocity was that close when we thought Davie Elliot was in at 8.28 but i've just been told by a good friend of mine that he is actually in at 8.23 and not the 28 past that we all thought last night so he should win the section easily enough ;)

I heard today it was under 2 yds just doing the vel in mins

all depends on the seconds then ,(are you listening big rab)

not glasgow, port glasgow 20 odd miles west of glasgow ,anyway have a look at a map and see the way the country lies .

i have a map and i know where port glasgow is and i also know the way the country lies. i was just pointing out that harrys mate in bervie (and you didnt know where it was) does not get a good distance from any east route race point. they have the same problem in fed racing. try to lighten up a bit

i get fed up with people saying i fly in glasgow ,20 odd miles west makes a big difference ,its like saying you fly in say shotts lanarkshire ,then someone says you fly edinburgh or just about ,if you see what im on about ,its some difference ,and also its the pits flying doo's into here ask fanciers in the know (frankdooman he used to fly in my club years ago) and you talk about overfly dont you think i should get any ,if only the shoe was on other foot  ;)ps the distance from a race point is as the crow fly's ,so no one gets  good distance's its the same for everyone ,the only way it benefits one from other is the direction of the wind
