Guest Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 come on now frank after all the good words i put in for you, the problems i am going to have now, you have no idea when i praise you i get pelters what is the exact strength in the snrpc, with the returns, up here most never got more than half, some never got any,but that was at 4pm
budgie Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 I don't disagree with what you are saying but I think you need to be more specific to prove that you are not talking 98% sh** to impress the more gullible amongst us. I am not convinced that there is a link between an earth tremor and what I would call "atmospherics". I appreciate that an earth tremor may interfere with homing ability. I wonder what we actually mean when we talk about atmospherics---is it a build up of static electricity in the atmosphere for example. Can we measure the paramaters which are undesireable? Can we draw limits to say that above this level we should not liberate? If we can resolve these issues then we are on our way towards better racing. When I first started using this site a year ago we were often given a link to a chart which predicted poor racing. I have not seen reference made to this in some time. It would be interesting to see what it predicted for the last 3 weekends. It would be good to debate this . Its obvious from the tone of your response that you are a Novice. The chart in question is never far wrong and if you subscribe and forget about the costs you will increase your knowledge.
Guest bigda Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 if there are birds getting timed in here then the north birds have another 100 odd mile still to go, shame as it was earmarked as a 35 mph mile race, now gone 5 mph hard to say what went wrong, maybe the late lib added to it 10 hr race, leaving it tight for the northern guys getting in before dark in a north east wind 14

I am trying to be constructive. I have requested a bit more information from you so that we can all understand the theory. I was never aware that I had to subscribe to see the chart or that there was a charge for doing so. I have accessed it from a link on this site before. I am totally in favour of any steps we can take to avoid losses.
