Novice Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 I am still undecided how many to send but doubt if I will send many yearlings to either Wanstead Flats or Newbury given the weather conditions. It will be a last minute decision.
jimmy white Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 how many on here are sending to wanstead flats this week ? im sending 6/8 not made my mind up yet ,4 will be just trainers for across the water please keep to topiic as could become political good luck to all
hotrod Posted June 3, 2009 Author Report Posted June 3, 2009 please keep to topiic as could become political good luck to all jimmy it was a joke as bigda fty told tim hall to drive 22 miles to newmains to mark his doo's ,(all this on a snrpc thread as well) i think most if not all would see the funny side of it .
hotrod Posted June 3, 2009 Author Report Posted June 3, 2009 Good Luck to all taking part this weekend thanx sapper hope the weather lets us all get a race its changing day by day and good luck to you as well ,how many are you sending ?
sapper756 Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 thanx sapper hope the weather lets us all get a race its changing day by day and good luck to you as well ,how many are you sending ? Hopefully 5 cocks and 1 hen
hotrod Posted June 3, 2009 Author Report Posted June 3, 2009 Hopefully 5 cocks and 1 hen hope you get a good un , im just concerned about newbury for you guys especially in an east wind (if it stay's east) its right in center of country and would send the birds up the west side of the peninnes ( massive hawk territory)
Delboy Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 Yip Stuart, you have a point with the east wind but we can only wait and see how things go. Maybe Wanstead Flats would be a better race point, hows the races and returns been from there in last few years ?
Chris Little Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 I must admit I was a little wary of Wanstead Flats prior to racing from there but in all honesty it has been a good racepoint

Maybe Wanstead Flats would be a better race point, hows the races and returns been from there in last few years ? although i lost one or two last year (my fault) its been very good mate with great returns and results spread all over the country so to me thats a fair race when all section winners are to the fore ,instead of miles behind like the west is in the y/b nationals
