Blue Tooner Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 54/54 from Brechin 62 miles, timed at 10.05am from 9am lib so can't complain apart from the trap, got 12 on the drop which flew around the loft for 4 and a half mins :-/ due to 2 diggers, a road roller and dumper trucks emptying hardcore about 80 feet from the back of my loft, hope they have finished by next week but I don't think they wil be :( It's a frustrating game but I suppose everyone get's days like this ;D ;D ;D

We've got 7/18!!!!! All birds home are the ones that were novices. Birds that have had every race are not home????? Gutted does not come close today

I did think of that but they had their tea break about 20 mins before the birds arrived ;D ;D Maybe some of my clubmates paid them to take their tea break earlier ;D ;D Every minute felt like an hour when the birds were going round and round, it's murder at the time but once the dust settles all you can do is have a laugh about it ;D. and enjoy watching the rest of the birds returning.

Novice Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 46 from 46 into Ayrshire flying into the wind today from Dunbar so well pleased. A decent race despite the fact that I thought we had delayed liberation too long at 09:30. We have the benefit of having avoided the congertion so far with a revised and shorter race prog.
