frank,your having a laugh,got it bang on,we,including race controllers were standing and could not see in front of us all day,the guys in the west,glasgow/renfrew had no chancetoday it was a joke.

does the race controller for the snrpc even bother to look at weather forecasts,as every single one was showing the west of scotland getting bad weather all day today,so cant understand why birds were libed,if he would have taken the time and phoned an rpra race controller in the west of scotland he would have been told not to go,but hey it was cler in he east so of we go and f*** the birds from the west there only making up the numbers.

I have to agree here, the weather here is feckin the worst ive ever seen pigeons being liberated in. Granted, it was plain sailing up the east and maybe into central belt but from there , heading westerly, it is pea soup. Very well done to all who got them through this neck of the woods.

Visibility has been very poor here in Hamilton all day and the rain has hardly halted either so it would be very very hard for the doos to come through here today..The county building here in Hamilton is 1 of the tallest buildings in Lanarkshire and at times today i couldnae see it because of the mist & rain and it's only just over a mile away from my house

returns into midland fed from wakefield are really bad at the moment.1/7,2/18 etc.been raining most of the day with very poor visibility.hopefully more will make there way back.

he could not do anything else the weather has been forcast like that for 4/5 days and sun / mon is no better so when would the birds get up if he had waited till tues any nat, y/bird would have fallen apart in the basket we all had the choice after seeing the forecast it was the same here all day as well the wind is what it is he cant control the weather so when would you have went ?

but if you want an opinion sunday as no rain forecast much better than today,and when or where dosent matter anyway,it wasnt good enough over here today, thats the point, he should not have went and if it wasnt good enough after a few days you bring them home or is it racing at any cost wth the snrpc.

Almond Valley had good race today  lib at 8.05am and timing in 9.47 onwards into west lothian area  the Calder lads would be a bit sharper though
