van reets,, every time,, upto 350 miles,, dobeleer as everyone in belgium flys all types of birds,, they get new birds in each year,, then when they win they become their name,,

 

good pigeons + good fancier = winning bloodlines.. you must remember you can buy the birds,,but you can't buy the fancier..

strains/family names don't mean a thing, it all down to the fancier's who race them, whatever strain/family a top fancier fly's they'll be the best birds in the area.

 

Got to agree with above,and all things being equal,a good loft location is also an added bonus,especially in the sprint type racing.

you also need the man, you could give me the best rdd, but i wouldnt beat the best round here with there experience and established teams, not knocking his birds b4 anyone thinks i am, so just bear that in mind when buying anyones birds!

sorry mick, it wasnt worded to great, yeah i do try, and i know the best birds will help you long your way, but i jusyt dont have the time to out the effort in every week, im just happy to race, but i will try harder just for you mick :-)

The Frans Zwols Janssens i have in my opinion are tha fastest pigeons i have ever known and they will take off as you just cant stop these pigeons winning. Frans has fantastic results as does the fanciers who have had them from him in the UK and Holland.

 

The base of these birds are the Harm Vredeveld love Pair of Boy and Queen which are mostly Camphuis based janssen.

 

Frans Ace pigeon from last year Amor scored 1st from 19,000b and then 2nd from 16,000b. He is some pigeon and there is only 1 son from it in the UK and he is sat his first pair of babies

just to add only a handfull of these have been over the channel, say 6 and already they have won 1st Open Combine Faliase and 2nd and 16th Open CSCFC. So they may fly on with a bit of luck.

I my case I am lucky enough to own grizzles and whites that win regularly. They are basically of  Bussaert origin. Now they are mine because of my habbit of mating winners to winners regardless of breed.

ive seen his results am i right in assuming stu that he only keeps a small amount of birds and flys against the big boys winning more than his fair share ...mick

He races a reasonable team gangster but nothing like Koopman and Vredeveld and he gives them a run for there money.
