From Johnson & Jeff and I DID complain they just ignored it - so you saved yourself from getting really annoyed !!

Roland Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 ran out of feed and way too late to get to my suppliers 18 miles away so nipped into Jolley's and bought a mix of encominy. Thought well will mix in tomorrow when I get my usual supply in. Opened the bag and poured in. Dust clouds drowned me from head to foot! I got some tights and cleansed enough for the night feed. Scrapped the lot next day! Was always mad I didn't take back, but... what the eekky.

Guest IB Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 What does it mean when a grain is 'recleaned'?
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 What does it mean when a grain is 'recleaned'? Believe it means that it goes through more than one filtering application such as in the link below. http://www.alvanblanch.co.uk/graincleaning.htm

Guest Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 I found a half smoked cigarette and loads of stones in a bag of bamfords economy. did you light it up?? .... i hope not (dizzy)(dizzy) andy.
Mealy Cock Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 You get what you pay for, anything that has been re-cleaned I would not touch. Beyers have the best barley of which I used to do my 50/50 mix. Natural Granen, shop around, can get a good price, Mariman and Versele Laga those are the top three. Best of luck
blaz Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Have also found it in the Breed and Wean. that would pi,s me off this time of year cant see past versalaga breed and wean.you only get out of them what you put in.
Jacobasmith Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 You get what you pay for If i wanted a pack of benson & hedges, i would have bought some! ;D
gulkie Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 i have found stones in different types of maples in the past.
Taylorsloft Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 What does it mean when a grain is 'recleaned'? it means they take all the rat droppings out of it :X ;D
leighton1984 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Barley from Natural is best around but if you want the best the price is high lol.
