gooner Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 Yea, I had Vandeveldes from him, great birds !! the cheq pd on lenwadebobs picture was a pure crowder vandie and was a super pigeon, he won 6 x 1st and 26 other cards in a 2year racing career before he caught pmv back in 1988, he was nursed through it and eventually died in 2003 at the age of 18,

Fair Play Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 Doesn't have the Vandies now last time I spoke to him said they were the best birds he had and wished he had never got rid of them He hasn't been in the best of health in recent years and had cut down his Nos. Hope he is a lot better.
