I've had now had six hens killed, the latest being one with 1@4 fed this season, av got fen traps set, av covered every hole and gap with small gauge mesh, this thing is like a ghost, a had 16 killed 2 Yr ago by a stoat but sorted that, I feel like packing them in and walking away, a was finally getting a decent team together then this. It knocks ya wick in

Just been to the loft and found it in the trap it won't be killing any more, it was a stoat, I still don't know how it got in

im having the same just now 2 stripped to the bone in 2 days legs off as well is this unusual?

That sounds like a big eat for a little weasel, seems more likely several predators

I caught the culprit on Tuesday, turned out to be a stoat, hopefully the birds will settle down now.
