With today’s prices to buy loft, accessories and then buy pigeons to start.... how can the working man afford to start up pigeons. It’s like starting up a business these days with all your overheads. And no guarantees that you will win a single position. Money is ruining the sport. How do you get a young fancier into the sport with today’s prices?

Don’t worry about the price paid by the buyer, just thank him for raising the sport in all the national papers, tv, radio and media. So when a no fancier asks you about pigeon racing be positive and encourage them by telling them the good things about our sport and it’s history. All PR can be good PR.

Ps. Offered to sell two of my birds to a none fancier to get him started for the same price as Armando and said he could let them fly out in two days. Sale was subject to no refunds if they flew away......lol, and no Chinese required.......lol. :emoticon-0136-giggle:
