  1. If I put a 2005 registration plate on the front of my 2009 car and cover the 2009 plate on the back with tape what year is that car? According to you Joe that tape would make it a 2005 car how silly does that sound.
  2. So I will ask you the same question in another way, what would you say in your defence If a member of the RPRA like me ask for your suspension under RPRA rule 70(a) for deceit? Joe it is you that should stop playing silly games and face the fact you would have no defence.
  3. Joe answer my question, what would you say in your defence once I suspended you under RPRA rule 70(a) for deceit?
  4. Is it breaking the rules to race a young bird with old birds YES. Is it cheating to hide the fact it is a young bird YES Are you breaking any rules by hiding the fact it is a young bird YES. Joe do not try and tell me it is not breaking the rules it is and I have told you what rule it is breaking more than once. If you done what you are doing in our club you would be suspended on the spot under RPRA rule 70(a) for trying to race a young bird with old birds by deceit that is a fact and not my opinion. Now tell me Joe what would you do to have that suspension lifted would you say that you did not know it was a young bird wearing a 2009 ring? Do not say I have no right to remove the tape because I have the right to check that birds details are in order and that means checking both its ring numbers tape or no tape. Putting tape on an official ring does not make it a marker ring it is still an official ring that members have the right to see. It may well be your bird but it is not your race and If the officials cannot satisfy themselves the bird is what you say it is then they have the right to refuse that bird entry into that race. It is crap talk to think that nobody has the right to remove a bit of tape to see if you are cheating. That is like saying no one has the right to open your clock to check it. So I will ask you again what would you say in your defence once I suspended you under RPRA rule 70(a) for deceit.
  5. Joe I race in the NIPA = RPRA and why do you not answer my questions?
  6. Joe where in the rules does it say you are not allowed to pull the heads of another fanciers bird before putting them into the race basket? I do not see one so according to you and your mind set it must be ok to do it as there is no rule to say you cant. Do you see how stupid your argument is.
  7. And would the 2009 ring not prove it was a young bird?
  8. if it is breaking the rules to race young bird with old birds what are you doing if you race young birds with old birds?
  9. Rule 70(a) is broken
  10. If it is breaking the rules to race young birds with old birds then to race a young bird with old birds is breaking the rules and to hide the fact it is a young bird is cheating
  11. You also there to make sure that birds details or above board.
  12. To satisfy yourself it is not a young bird and therefor breaking the rules.
  13. The people who made the rule to say young birds cannot race with old birds they are the ones being deceived. If someone knows that under that tape is a young bird ring why is he letting that person break the rules by letting it race with old birds?
  14. And as I have said before once you hand that bird to him you have just given him permission to tamper with it.
  15. Joe61 so you are saying it is ok to cheat and so long as you do not get caught? Who says I cannot take the tape off? once you hand me that bird on marking night I can make any checks I want to satisfy myself that the bird has a right to be raced in your name. Your clock belongs to you but I can take it out of its box open it and check it to make sure everything is in order. Show me the rule that says I must race mark every bird you hand me.
  16. There is no rule to say you cannot put two rings on a bird but there is a rule to say dishonourable conduct is breaking the rules. If you put an old ring on a young bird to make people believe it is an old bird then you are guilty of dishonourable conduct. If yo hide the fact it is a young bird so it can race with old birds you are guilty of dishonourable conduct . Doing what you are doing in order to deceive people is dishonourable conduct. What part of that do you not understand?
  17. So what is this person going to say in court? Your Honour I was trying to cheat by hiding the ring that would show it to be a young bird and they would not let me race. To hide the fact it is a young bird is cheating and If you cannot see that then you blind to the truth.
  18. Joe are you trying to tell young fanciers and others on this site that it is ok for them to cheat so long as no one can prove it by removing the tape. Would it not be better to tell them that breaking the rules by deceiving others is wrong.
  19. Saying that you cannot remove the tape to see that I am cheating is stupid. Once you hand that bird to the race marker you have just given him your consent to check that birds details to make sure it is ok for that race. If there is dirt any other on the ring that stops him from reading it he can remove it. If you do not let him do his job then he can refuse it
  20. Joe why is there no rule saying you cannot pull the heads of everyone else's birds at race marking? If you had to word every single thing you where not allowed to do the rule book would be as thick as some fanciers.
  21. What is under that tape is everyone business if it is there to hide the fact you are cheating. I have pointed out how you are breaking the rules by doing this so what can you not understand. Deceive = Dishonourable conduct = Breaking RPRA rule 70(a)
  22. If you hide the fact it is a young bird so it can be raced as an old bird by covering the ring then you are breaking the RPRA rule 70(a) by deceiving and that is dishonourable conduct. The only reason for covering the ring is to stop people from seeing its true age.
  23. Breaking the rules YES, to deceive is to break the rules
  24. If you send a bird that wears a 2009 ring, covering that ring to hide the fact that it is a young bird so it can get the experience of a couple of races under the false pretence that it is an old bird is cheating not bending the rules it is plain and simple cheating. If your found to be cheating you should never be allowed to race another bird.
  25. You say a bit late in posting but Joes perfectly correct, and regarding it being deceitful the club and fed members are fully aware of it and should they want to put the additional work in Are you now telling me that club and fed members are fully aware of breaking the rules by letting young birds race with old birds?
