  7. 424 birds in now including 39 GB birds only another 2100 to come seems a right stiff one
  8. i think what is meant is if they were up an hour earlier you might of got a bird it happened a few years back in one of the inland nationals they went up i think at about 10.30 or 11.00 shutting out north birds

  11. reffering to this post george as youve still to break your birds to your new address my thoughts would be that i would only lightly race any broken birds a couple of shortish races to settle them in then next year you can test them out further i moved house and raced the following year with 16 broken birds lost near the lot, and they were my best from my old location got reports they kept going to the old location on a race day jmo
  12. let them sit on the trap before they are able to fly get them used to going in i let mine wander in and out of the loft through the sputnick ive a board that i slide in under it which they walk out onto then jump up onto the landing board and drop in found this the best way to keep them with very few if any fly ways

  23. i think marks saying that the winner can come out of 2nd or 3rd batch you might have 100 birds go overhead flying further than you but yours turns up 5 mins later and wins the race because the birds start to slow with distance could be wrong like
