Mmmmmmmmmm, papers involved, rspb and sh haven't been back in touch. I'll wager the poor thing "disappears" or meets some other misfortune, as did the one on MOD ground in Yorkshire.
Stoney. We didnt see the sun until 15:00- 15:30 though dry from about 13:00. Then lovely late afternoon and evening. Strong S,SW wind. At 13:00 there was fog/ v. low cloud to the NW and rain.

Its only certain strains of e-coli that are nasty.
I've reported 3 birds with ets. They were all someone's champion. In each case I got "you can keep the bird but can you send the ring ets ring back"! Tells its own story.
If it was my champion I would gladly get it back, with or without its ring.
