Worst ref I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic , and hope you get some joy from them, but I feel that the powers that be are more interested in their all expenses paid jollies rather than the sport itself , Shame there is not another option other than RPRA membership as I feel only a hard hit in the coffers will make them sit up and take any notice
-
I always fancied trying their Van loons, but seem quite expensive when you can buy as well bred from a racing fancier for less , so I would if I had the £££`s but will have to wait until my Lotto comes up ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
That looks an excellent hen and if I was not putting together a team of long distance/marathon birds I would be snapping your hand off for her
-
I said add barley it is only as an indicator as when the birds are full, not a large percentage of their diet ,
-
feed down until they start to drink and then food away, or down for 20 minutes and then up , or add barley and when they start leaving the barley take the food away, all these will work Hungry birds are well controlled birds

Try and get the video "Dual Widowhood" by Rick Mardis , it is a system he races and does very well with flying in the US, I flew the system in early season and then re-paired for the channel and the birds flew very well over the water both cocks and hens but especially the cocks including 1st club saintes only bird on day , 6th fed only 7 on the day .

Youngboy has asked me to put a picture of my youngbird pen for you to maybe take some ideas from for your own pen design If you could make something similar to this it may be safer and healthier for your birds you could keep 3 or 4 pairs in this if they were flying out as well

It is left open all the time I did intend making shutters but even in heavy rain it doesn`t get very wet and with being open once the rain stops the floor dries in no time at all , it is just a 6x4 garden shed I hade made with out any boarding on the front and just meshed it myself before assembling it, it held 16 y/b`s comfortably last year would perhaps be okay for a max of 20 as obviously has ample ventilation , I hope to use box perches this year the V`s were used as a quick fix as I was running out of time ;D the floor is planks with Ply overlaid on top to make for easy scraping and the ply can be lifted and pressure washed before each seasons y/b`s are placed in the pen hope this helps you a little
