out of the race loft 12 pairs --11 layed so far-12 partings stock a little slower 2 pairs out of 4 layed-4 partings spare hens left to run with 4 cocks-1 cock has 2 hens down on eggs -one cock selected 1 hen and are on eggs-other 2 enjoying themselves-no partings just nest bowls behind a bit ply leaning against to walls-maybe should of culled the 4 spare cocks as i find my spare hens race well paired to each other. NOT BREEDING AS MANY THIS YEAR ------CORN TOO EXPENSIVE!

eggs in most nest pans -all looking good so far.

never broke mine down-but they have been locked in since end of season ,they have been innoculated and vac sheet done wormed ,cankered one spotted and sprayed.all are now on last flight and paired and will be laying wednesday with a bit luck.they have had wheatgerm oil on the corn plenty of fresh grit daily and calcium tablets crushed on the corn.alls looking well fingers crossed. loft has been put on deep litter with medicated powder under it. lights on till 6.30pm so i can see to them after work-loft manager[old guy used to have birds] feeds them during the day and cleans them out-[big help] and lets them out of there boxes one pair at a time.

we have some benzing lads that flew the wednesday club and marked their birds and read them off on a unikon system no problem.
