I know a natural flyer that wins club,fed and international much too the irritation of the widowhood boys flying an average of 3 birds /race and won the fed channel averages flying just 5 birds in all to 6 channel races. Its down to the individual whatever suits the flyer ,birds and time and lets not forget enjoyment im a natural flyer ,very natural it suits me for long distance and my birds suit the system little if any YB racing then to 180mls as yearlings 400mls as 2 yr olds then 610mls at 3and then 689 after that to 6,7 or 8 yrs only 3 or 4 racea a year per bird, The satisfaction i get from clocking from 500 mls plus cannot be described and the trust and bond that develops with the bird is the hobby for me .

To answer a couple of people the ybs on offer are all of birds flown by myself and have had positions for me at the levels and distances mentioned all of which can be proven with cards from the clubs. These birds are not bought in stock birds to sell off youngsters and thier will only be about 12 to go. I hope that answers the questions raised by 2 people. The other question my Des Coulter birds are raced and score straight and crossed and the 4 of these will be of performance birds flown by myself. I hope this answers the questions raisedy the 3 people concerned.

Jeremy its a bit early to start yearlings i can only speak for myself why not wait till May get some warmth on them and then start them. I never send yearlings till May its often not right and it means training early in march too many wrong days and east winds. They can be dropped easily in these conditions why not start in early may and a couple inland ,one at say 200mls then jump them into Cholet . Im a distance man as you know your thinking on this would be interesting .

I will be selling some 2nd young birds off performance distance pigeons of my own bloodlines Des Coulter,Ian Benstead,Fear Bros,Pat King and others. They will all be off birds timed at over 550mls plus in the BICC , NFC and CSCFC .The reason for this is ive lost very few birds and will be breeding far fewer birds i normally breed about 28 ybs and 6 late breds. I fly natural no anti biotics given only wormer and jab the birds are rarely raced as ybs but trained N,S,E and W wherever we go.I can produce all the cards for my birds i rarely sell but it will help with corn and club bills .Thier are no long fancy pedigrees with my birds just hard honest pigeons .Thier will only be 10 to 14 ybs i do not take many off my birds.Contact me for details Ive flown both BICC Pau and NFC Tarbes and timed in both sending 9 and getting 7 clocking 5.

Yes whats the rush i pair up in mid march /early april to get the birds ready for the races that matter.We do not set a clock for club racing barring Bergarac and set for the BICC and NFC Tarbes and Saintes. It makes racing more enjoyable who wants to be racing all the time especally sprinting .I spend my weekends of gardening and watching the birds looking for signs of form in thier behaviour.Their is no need to pair so early so why do it.

If you look many peoples birds are losing natural immunity through anti boitics used wiily nilly . I f you want natural immunity you cannot keep giving anti biotics fact.

Sir i agree with worming but why canker and cocci would you take an antibiotic if you were not ill ! you weaken the immunity of your loft . I jab and worm thats it i race long distance if they cannot stand up they are not kept. I give cattle minerals 1/4 the cost and just the same grit and a lump of rock salt to pick at and galic cloves in the water.Please think before giving anti biotics if thier not up to it do not keep them.

We will have for sale in mid Jan 2 Glen pups as the rest of the litter are booked. They are out of our blue brindle dog he has won a reserve cc and won his class at Crufts and other champ shows .He is also a good working dog on top and to ground. The dam is home bred a blue bindle *expletive removed* she won best of breed at the clubs limit show and come 3rd in group at a champ show.She also is a top notch worker to ground and on top .they are super tempered.We do not have a digital camera so i will try and borrow one .They are 1st class dogs in every respect if they go privatly i will post a notice price on request.

Cs if you want performance Dordins then its Either Dave Posey or Derek Lawton i see it said like looking at the crown jewels on the site .With respect though i didnt see any international winners classic or BICC performance birds aka Dave Posey or good NFC @MNFC aka Derek Lawton and remember Dave Posey flys at top 20 birds and though i do not know the gentleman Derek Lawton i belive is 40 birds. Do not let performance be blinded by gloss .

Alan i think i know who the fancier is with the £100,000 if its the person im thinking it is he will act.As for DAFRA words fail me but we must keep at them like a good Jack Russell keep at them and do not let go.

Alan it would be interesting to get the facts from DEFRA on this one canary shows banned ,UK birds banned ,Belgian birds not banned what if the outbreak originates from Belgium . Defra Gloucester vet told me on Friday until they knew where the out break came from restriction movements would stay in place . Now if we get a good barrister he will destroy Defras case this is all about money as in the case in Norfolk this year.I hope the Unions act as one i will be contacting the NCA on the cage bird side i also show Belgian fancy canaries im writing to my MP please do the same and harry the Unions to act . Bruno the law is an ass i have written personally to Fred Landeg concerning exhibition canaries and pigeon racing stating the facts.Exhibition canaries are kept in birdrooms in breeding cages put in show cages and then carrying boxes taken to the show exhibited and then brought back. Risk 0% though just for interest Bruno and these ara not exhibition budgies their are a number of flocks of homing budgies about this is not a wind up either.
