I would like to get you to double check as a number of Canary clubs have been forced to cancel shows and a DeFRA vet has told us NO shows allowed inc Telford Auctions that was at 1329 today friday .If it goes ahead Defra will have alot of Canary clubs taking the matter further.

All ETS systems should be checked by an impartial arbitrator approved by the governing bodies .Unfortunatly it has been a free for all with no controls which has caused these problems RPRA council did not think when they approved ETS what would happen a bit of commonsense and thought could have prevented this. Luckily are club is ETS free.

Hello what if like myself your a out and out distance flyer who does not set a clock on races under say 250mls what use would sprint birds be!.Perhaps a divide between distance and sprint ?.

Hello all my birds get is the jab and a wormer if required i only treat individually and cull any signs of weakness.

I train in 2s and 3s due to hawks and from any direction N,S,E or W because of my job and if i can get them singled i will . Why will most fanciers not train off line what the hell are they frightened off ?.

I live in a area with Gos,Peregrine and sparrrow hawk i race grizzles,reds,mealy and dark chequers and the odd blue .I lose more chequers and blues to hawks than anything else ive logged my losses over 5 yrs also my best birds are grizzles and reds flying 650mls plus to the age of 6 to 7 flown on open hole. Grizzles have been flown successfully by many as with reds etc its old wives tails about hawk bait by people who generally know nothing.

I have read what has been said on the matter i raised it has been interesting .It should be down for membersof individual clubs to decide will it cause the break up of some clubs yes i think it will some bad feeling will occur but ets is here to stay .It is not of any use to me at present as i have to varify my BICC birds in both national and internationals and we do not set a clock under 250 mls and are club members are not interested bar 1 what does he do for now if he stays its an STB like the rest of us . If not we may lose a member and nobody wins we are going to have to work together and respect each others views but in some places that will not happen.

Its interesting to see different views on this are club is going along the lines of compentant and willing and nobody is willing. If as one person said a letter is sent to Mr Bryant objecting and it got through who could force anybody to do it !. We are a small rural club with a 40mile by 20 mile radius and some 18 members . We are out of nearly every other clubs radius so what happens ! you can take a horse to water but you cannot make it drink. The club might split because of one person we will wait and see .
