This section has been set up without asking the NFC membership which is not fair . The sections as a whole need to be changed a posting on the nfc site makes alot of sense and its rare for me to agree with Mr Parker but to adjust the sections to 500mls to 600mls at the present Pau distances then 600 to 700 and then 700 to 800 mls Plus and have the normal sectioning east to west . To add a new section without consultation is in my view wrong and undemocratic.

Well done i used to fly out of Kernow as a youth on the north its not easy flying down the dog. If you get the chance get the combine to start flying the distance again i stay in contact with Dick Antony and others they do not fly the combine because of the lack of distance they fly in the Devon and Cornwall continental. Why not have a look at it and me and the Memsabir are looking to move back in the next couple of years as we kept are house .Give the continental a chance it will sort your birds out and give you a gronding on channeling into Kernow.

Im sorry sir but the MNFC do not race to western counties ie Devon,Cornwall,Dorset ,Somerset ,Wilts and Glos .I used to race out of Cornwall and we were used to being forgotten about. It is something that needs to be looked into possilbly seperate libs ?. Its a good idea but needs working on.

Look in the mirror and see if you have done anything different with these as young birds quite often young birds/ yearlings can be relutant though handling when clocked we do not clock youngsters if we race they trap well and are not stressed. Play about with the birds concened and get thier trust feed a few groats or broken peanuts when you play with them . We are always looking at the birds to blame instead of our management . Try and get thier trust and talk and play with them they can often surprise you.

Get an electric fence and make a small compound round the loft they do not like electric fences .I also have Glen of Imaal terriers and Russells which are also rather effective but an electric fence never goes to sleep.

Mr Wilcox gives some good advice you also have Dave Posey who lives at Begbroke his record with 18 pigeons is second to none. Dave doesnt sell but is worth talking to John Clarke at Clyffe Pypard is also a hell of a good flyer and a gentleman to boot. Try your own out first and give it 3 seasons then you will know what you have got then decide. I fly with Carterton so i will look out for you in the Wantage results mind you are in a hell of a good club plenty of good flyers if you can win in Wantage you can win anywhere. Good Luck Mark

Sir i think it depends on how they are advertised and that it was clearly stated . If not and they were sold as dutch bred then that is simply fraud and you make a very valid point on rings .

I would like to offer on loan for 1 season 2 hens from Eric Fox 1 grandaughter of the red pau cock and 1 daughter of the bordeaux hen 1 is 11yrs and 1is 9yrs both bred last year and are fit and well . They have bred me some good hard pigeons thier will be no pedigees with these birds .

I am two of the above but drive i work 12hr shifts and have to train my birds in any direction . I also have 8 terriers and canaries which the wife helps me with mind we do not have a tv set . As a youngster i was all of the above .

all my birds are vaccinated ive seen paramyxo i culled nearly 100 for a friend thats why i do it.

I fly open hole its a good method if it suits you they get sharp to the hawks so give it a go.
