I find this quite astonishing quite astonishing all together and "me" personally has been the subject of some "bating" by members of the moderating team in the past for "hiding" behind a user name. I thought I was only protecting my position within the scottish pigeon fraternity but now it seems I may have been protecting my family as well without even knowing it. Find this utterly disgraceful and really hope something is done about it. The proper authorities should be called in. I can honestly say I never heard anyone say they would pack it in. Funnily enough I think the duplicitous way the system was brought in and allowed to be used without any rules whatsoever and the way ordinary members were denied their democratic right of a vote was what caused the trouble in Scotland. It appears Peter has not learned from the lesson he could have had for free from up here. Using the disabled as an excuse for your actions is inexcusable. I say this as someone who has family members who are disabled!

This is utterly disgraceful I sincerley hope Mr.White has contacted the police with any information he has people who utter threats like this should be locked up for a very long time!! ETS being brought in has nothing to do with the amendments to the act it was just used as a convenient excuse. Nowhere in the act does it say you have to change the rules of established sports and hobbies. Plus the number you are looking for Vic is 30. Clubs with less than 30 members are specifically excluded from the terms of the act. But this was meant in terms of access ,toilets etc. Put it another way how many Scottish clubs who have applied for lottery grant money have used it to provide the disabled with equal access to their local pigeon club? There is no prize for getting the answer to this question right by the way!!

Disappointed in you bruno you clearly don't read my educated well thought out posts I f you did you would remember "me" pointing out that the only reason this was being brought in was to make money off the chip rings and that is exactly why the RPRA have brought it in as well. Wait and see in a few years we will be getting "oh its no longer cost effective to allow people to use normal clocks better buy an ETS system"

Don't know why you particularly want to ask "me" but you have basically answered your own question and it all depends on your morals(or lack of them) wether you feel what has been done is fair and reasonable in decent ordinary peoples eyes. Point 1 - no one was being put out of pigeons a pigeon club with say 20 members is still a pigeon club it does not need to be part of a federation, they can still race their doos. Point 2 - a pigeon club that splits its members up into 4 groups of five say is still the same 20 members so why as you seem to suggest has this helped them survive. Well quite simply it has not, the only reason this was done was to allow an individual who lives 30 miles away and who had been rejected by his own members to cling pathetically to power and that is exactly what happened .
