what really annoys "me" about this thread as a member of the Shu is the way my fellow Shu members seem to forget what suits them to forget . There was a large club in west central Scotland who easily more than 20 flying lofts and were not members of a federation for a few years not that long ago and guess what they qualified for NOT ONE SHU DELEGATE. It now sems 3 or 4 lofts and you can have an Shu President for a member. Is anyone who is Scottish(and identifiable) saying anything about this? No and I don't blame them but I do take exception to the scottish lads having a go at "me" for trying to protect my position but still give an honest opinion! When the Gareth Rankins and Ian Browns etc etc on this forum are brave enough to stick their necks out for the truth maybe I will "unmask" myself. But trust "me" fellow forum members it won't happen they are the ones who are really frightened incase they are taken to task.!

just noticed this Bart I am actually a member of the Shu but I have no fear of members of the RPRA they are just doo men the same as "me".

Peggy lad you might well be in a position to bring a little bit of sanity back to the "doo game" in Scotland. Why not point out to your fellow members of the fife fed that the adoption of such a rule is illegal and could leave the organistion open to an action for damages and given the feds present financial position is asking for trouble is it not? In saying that the Midland and Lanarkshire fed and indeed the Shu are already in crontravention of the relative shedules of the act on their own head be it if someone "takes" them.

these were very impressive Bruno very impressive indeed you should have left your OU qualifications "up" to encourage others who did'nt qualify to go to university when at the normal age to do so to "try try and try again". Its never too late! Incidentally in which professional field are you using your qualifications at the moment? Could you not advise the SHU and stop them wasting anymore of our money?

it sure will gangja but the point is and I hate to labour the point ,pigeon clubs with less than 30 members are not affected by the amendments to the act.. If the RPRA are stupid enough to try and say it is the "club" and not the association of the clubs (whats its name again Royal Pigeon Racing something or other) it probably will lose members to rival organisations.

makes no difference to clubs under the act no traditional sports or hobbies or pastimes are affected and clubs of less then 30 members are specifically excluded from the act anyway and have no need to take any notice of it (legally anyway!)

So who should the guys have appealed to about the people who are running the SHU fifer, the SHU. Don't see that as a winner do you?
