You probably have been! I would have tried a sulpha drug for a few days i.e. 3 to 5 to see what progress was made. Put it this way it would have helped to sort cocci and to certain extent e-coli so it would have pointed you in the right direction one way or the other as to what was troubling your bird Tammy. If it was cocci or e-coli it will probaly revisit anyway. Depends on the age of your youngsters if they are all eating and drinking well it would have been worth a try and I can confirm that one bird I owned who most people would have said was "going light" lived to tell the tale and did well. Whats to interpret Fifer 5 guys have set out to circumvent the rules of our union and as Gutty Hen says 5 members now have their own fed! George is most certainly a fantastic pigeon man I just think he should "channel" his energies into the nationals okay he might have to introduce slightly different birds and he will not get the same success as he does in Lanarkshire he knows that, "me" knows that, most doo men in this part of the world do. God I never noticed this earlier Cemetary £1.30 really is important to you. I've got an idea to save "fifers" fae getting upset because they have lost £1.30 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why not put an old fashioned ordinary rubber on your ETS doos leg as well. Then when it comes home without the ordinary rubber you know to take the "expensive" ETS "rubber" off before your strag doo gets lost and costs you £1.30.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ETS rings are nothing more than a new version of "rubbers" and unless I'm mistaken it is a long established practise to remove the "rubber" from a strag to inform the owner if it ever manages to return home that its not much of a doo. Would you have been as upset if the guy had removed a traditional rubber from your birds leg Cemetary? Maybe just maybe whoever removed your birds "rubber" cemetary was trying to help you. Put it this way if a bird of mine entered a loft for a feed on the way home from a "training toss" it would not be getting a new "rubber" organised for it . Whats the point is just not good enough. Lets face it cemetary that bird complete with its ETS ring will get lost eventually, its just not much of a doo. Tip for new starts if you have a bird returned injured give it every chance and let it try again. If a bird returns flown out or is returned to you flown out give it another chance. Don't let your judgement about its worth be clouded because its cost you £1.30 for new fancy "rubber" If a bird enters someone elses loft for a feed and returns a few hours later do yourself a favour.
