With regards to Barts comments it would have been more cost effective to have went with the National and duplicated back into the Fed and the same on our next coast race Wincanton/Eastboune.One set doos and the saving on training and time would be benificial to all parties.Food for thought next year. :-/ :-/ :-/

Returns in Newmains not so good well below 50% and a few members not timing in.Best time is that man Fae Bonkle Thomas Richardson who will be 1st,2nd and 3rd timing at 2.42,15.03 and 15.04.Well done and all the best for next week. :)

Timed at 16.22 4/6 with our Gold Cup pigeon at 18.44.It appears that the National Doos got a better go than the Lanarkshire Fed as on speaking to our club secretary this morning returns are well below 50% with a few not timing in. :(

No word on the Lanarkshire Fed until 9.30am.On reading the other threads its shocking on a day like this when they should half been away 1st thing.Set bolt cutters comes to mind or the nearest field. :( Alex are we now in the site and ready for a liberation.

Lanarkshire Fed at Worcester 257 miles to the Motherwell Area.Pigeon Navigation showing Green and the Met Forecast looks good with North West Wind which should take them about 6/7 hours. :X :X :X With the Fed having a Yearling Open Race we will be sending 37 plus three older doos.Last year it attracted 215 members sending 1691 birds and racing for over £5500.Good luck to all this weekend.

Pigeon Navigatiion is coming out of the Red and going into the yellow around 6.00am which is Hazardous.Take note and keep the thread updated to see how returns are in all Areas over the course of the day.And bear in mind the 17-18 mile North East Winds in most part of the country today.Good luck to all. :X :X :X

Returns not so good 63 from 71 Charnock (157mls) and as i said earlier moving from red to yellow in the navigation take care along with the West Route ?????? :(

We have 53 out 71 within the first hour racing fromCharnock 157 miles taking them 3hrs 53 mins .The best times to hand are 3hrs 41 mins. :)

Brighten up in the Motherwell area but the Pigeon Navigation Multi Day Forecast is coming out of the Red into the yellow indicating caution should be exercised. :-/ :-/ :-/ Going back the records this could be a dodgy day .

For what its worth our own Club Newmains sent 999 birds the first pigeon is taking 1hr 44 mins and the 246th pigeon is taking 4hrs 45 mins with a velocity of 602 which is only 25% of them home at a 99mile toss in 3hours.As Alf has already quoted West Coast Racing is suicide or words to that effect. :( >
