yes your right any strain will win, but i want to know peoples opinion on who has the best sprint birds in the country upto 250 miles, i didnt ask who has the best upto 500 miles, strain of birds has no interest to me just, winning birds

any time a bird is flown out, on its return its given a good multi vitamin, and at least 3-4 days on a good protein based mixture

id keep training them to be honest, and regularly, if they dont have plenty of basketing experience, i feel you will feel the after effects next season. I've known fanciers not to race ybs, and following season there yearlings flew exceptional, however they vigerously trained, and would go training short at least 3 times a week, and one long one 100 miles.But i wouldnt stop them training untill the end of the race programme my opinion. Then id lock them up for a month, and fed a very light mixture nearly 100% barley, to give the moult a kick start, with garlic in the water to the following season. after the month put onto a good moulting mix

had 12 tosses before first race, first toss straight in at 30 miles, furthest toss they would have had is 60 miles. Only dropped 2 from training. and this is the 4th week racing only lost 3 racing,
