General question someone asked me today was how many pigeons could they keep in a 10x4 shed, i could only answer to them that i felt between 24-30 would be maxium what are your thoughts?

especially important if u feed heavy with maize

as far as i am aware it isnt an entire clearance, he will be keeping his 2010 young birds and still be racing these, just shows how much he must rate his young bird team, as well as how much he loves a pound note. Cassaert done exactly the same sold everything apart from their young bird team and it never affected there winning abillity

two late for young birds this season mucker, look to be getting some around januray next season,

myself personally would like to get them out to at least 30 miles before the first race, and then in an ideal world, the 7 miles twice daily would be brillant as they will soon know the route to homeand would have a direct line, as from about the 12-15 miles away from home is where the real racing begins i can only seeing it being beneficial especially sprint wise.

How many pantiles would you need to cover a 12 x 4 loft roughly?

myself personally i think it depends what is in it and how much they are recieving, but what works for one man and his pigeons wont work for another man, I know top fanciers who will only feed 30gramms per pigeon per day and then on the other hand i know another top fancier who hopper feeds, which one is better i couldnt say but it works for them, but the key is finding what works for you

I won yb racing but they was not as consistant as when i learnt how to control their protein.

Mick i do my fair share, last season was only out of the top 5 in federation for 2 races, and most weeks taking more then 3 places in the top 20 of the federation

racing young birds is to learn the Key of protein and when and how to use it, is all im letting onto all im saying is TOO MUCH PROTEIN and you wont be among the winners, but protein has its time and place

any fancy breed will be considered
