Vic Shaw of harlow raced a pigeon called Tom Thumb very successfully, short and long if i remember rightly, last time i read the pigeon to score was at 8 years old, My opinion, i dont like to race the good ones after 5 years, especially if they are breeding also. yes your right any strain will win, but i want to know peoples opinion on who has the best sprint birds in the country upto 250 miles, i didnt ask who has the best upto 500 miles, strain of birds has no interest to me just, winning birds
