Never fed it to pigeons but have fed horses on it and you have to boil it or it's poisonous to them

That's why I never let my youngsters out 'til they are that age and I never lose one, They are strong enough and have enough brain to work back, Those babies that you lose are either lost or you have to collect

Had these out yesterday for the first time, They were hatched 27th Aug. So you can see I don't let them out until they can really fly, They had been out with the older youngsters for a while when a young Buzzard came over low and calling this sent one of the Darkies up with an older youngster, They did about 10 big circuits rising all the time when a flock of 60/70 birds, Fieldfare or Redwings I guess, came by heading West and the Darkie joined them and disappeared out of sight, This was about 3pm. I kept looking but no sign, When I looked at 6pm. the nest mate had gone and thats how I shut up loft, Super day today so I was hopeful when I got up but no sign, Then around 11 they hit the loft together, I don't have nearby roof's but I've done the lottery tonight
