i read in bhw that a guy beside stirling working in a quarry found rings from a nest ( they are published in bhw )only going to get worse . tryed to get into rspb site to download photo but it keeps crashing

had the same couple off weeks ago . seems every time you train this is going to happen . if it does nt your very very lucky

only use emulsion and it still lets it breath

paint it after all the disinffecting has been done . the white paint keeps it nice and bright for the winter dull days

since i started single tossing the old birds before the racing starts two years ago we have had very good racing and have had low losses . i posted on about single and double tossing to avoid percy attacks earlyer in the year . it seams if u toss a big batch nowadays they always come back split up ending up loosing one or two and some hurt in the bargain .

got a call from a woman at st cyrus caravan site she found this bird walking about badly injured poor thing was ripped to bits and i had to put it down . took some photos of it i m going to send them to rspb

only way to build a team is to stopp all your yearling at 300 miles. put them buy for the year .i know its tempting to try them further but you ll lose more than you ll get back . i know guys are timing in yearlings in from accross the water but how much birds do these fanciers keep ?

got 4 /4 from eastbourne bit late. thats the only race we ve entered it s our first year at this . will be going to clermont with 6 . feel for the guys that had birds to messac must be lots missing .

i,m only training 5 miles this year prob about 10 - 15 times . if i go any further we get hit lost 3 last toss from 10 miles . think the birds just have to get used to coming out of the basket more than anything

ended up 3 missing .i got the last of them two days later

montrose its prob only about 7 miles i let the doos up in three separate bunches of about 17 . i now there is a pair of peragines on the flight path on there way home at st cyrus . thats why i took them so early, to hopfully beat percy out of his bed but i was wrong

took the y/birds down about 10 miles early this morning about 6 30 when i got back from work this afternoon i m still 11 short and 2 hurt looks like percys been at them . let hope some more turn up
