We have near knackered exterior ply full length of loft with louvres that wer hand made by a bricklayer and a electronic engineer! Also when wooden doors(from the queen Mary) are open we have more bricky/teleman made mesh dividers that are open all day to let the air pass thru. In the back we scientifically drilled loads of half inch holes along the top with the worst wood bit ever seen! so that air flows back to front. In the winter loft is closed all the time but in the summer its open to the elements. We also have an aviary which is made of old skirting boards and chicken mesh rescued from next doors rabbit hutch when the bunny died. The loft is two foot of the ground which lets air flow thru the numerous cracks that have appeared over the years. I weep with jealousy when I see the magnifcent new lofts depicted on the site!!!!! One day I will have one
