  5. There are some cross-infection risks, but with proper housekeeping they should be manageable.

  10. Sure I seen one when I was a kid in the 60's, so I'll give America a miss. :D
  11. It went a little darker here, but it was so overcast that very little difference was noticed and the eclipse was certainly not visible where I am in East Ayrshire. Others had a partial glimpse.

  16. Andyyy, what type of racing is it that you look to do well with? In sprints, the ETS can easily be the difference between 1st and 5th. Is it worth risking upsetting them so near to racing? Might put them off for a short time, but you should know your own pigeons and whether they will overcome the change quickly or not. You trap to open door into a trapping corridor. How do they reach their sections? Could the ETS go there, thus their system is not changing? Could you sort your ETS trapping system at section entrance, but continue to use your T3 in the trapping corridor, if need be?
  17. He uses stall traps and can time within the same second. He doesn't always win and he doesn't always have 4 on the drop, but he does have good pigeons and he is an excellent fancier. He has the best pigeons on the day when he manages this sort of result and he is always there or there about. My point was that ETS won't make any fancier better, but yes, it could help on the split second decisions.
  18. 1) More than one system can be used in a Club, but it is better to check with your Club what system the majority are using rather than have multiple systems. 2) The pigeons record their time of arrival by crossing over a pad. The opening required for trapping would depend on the size of this pad. The pad size depends on the system you opt for. 3) Fanciers with T3's are able to beat fanciers with ETS. The clocking system makes no difference to the pigeon. Some on T3's are very adept at removing rubbers and clocking their arrivals. There is a T3 fancier in my Club that regularly takes the first 3 or 4 places.
