Our idea had been OB's and YB's together, so cost was not an issue. This would have produced a saving. We don't step out as fast as on the south, so it was possible. As you say, a starting point which could be tweaked. The hardest part is stopping a rearguard from "digging in". The weather can be fair during September and October, so a longer break could be a possibility.

I picked up YB's from Stray Centre last week. Many had ETS rings on. I was also given an ETS ring and Life Ring from an unfortunate one. I was made most welcome, given a cup of tea and a chocy biscuit. Keep up the good work Davy.

This is a similar plan to what we have considered for the North Road, the arguments against being that the season is too short as it is, so why shorten it further. If it was started later, with a longer break between OB's and YB's, then the season would run as long as it does just now, but the YB's would be racing when the BOP YB's had fledged and were on their own. Would it make it any easier for our YB's, who knows at this stage since it has not yet been tried.

Change is always resisted and is therefore slow. Hopefully not too slow.
